Sea trial Amphiro On the 21st of February the tanker “Amphiro” left Willemstad for her sea trial. This ship is completed at Shipyard Trico BV in order of Deen Shipping from Zwijndrecht. Veth Propulsion delivered for this ship two Veth-Jet bow thruster installations of the type 4-K-1200. The generator sets were also delivered by our company; two Scania sets of the typeDI16-52M-HCM543E (557kVA), one SISUset type 49CTA-UCM274F-B (120kVA) and a 49DTG (82 kVA)-UCM274C-B. Furthermore we delivered a parallel system, which makes it possible to connect several generator sets with each other for the purpose of board supply. During the sea trial, which went without complications, it wasn’t necessary to sail at full speed because the air suction of the generator sets came from outside.
